What is OCD?

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a mental health condition characterized by unwanted, intrusive thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviours or mental acts (compulsions) performed to reduce distress or prevent something bad from happening. While everyone experiences worries, OCD can make these thoughts feel intense, persistent, and hard to manage, often interfering with daily life.
